Taghrid Alhowish is a journalist and television presenter, working as the main anchor of «MBC in a Week». Through her weekly programme she hosts leading figures from across the Arab world and covers major political, social, cultural and sporting stories.
She holds a bachelor's degree and postgraduate studies in media from Canada. During her academic years she served as editor-in-chief of the online newspaper Sufara'a, and as a main radio presenter at the largest Arabic-speaking radio station in Canada, Middle East Radio.
She later worked as a presenter and programme producer at Sky News Arabia.
Alongside her broadcast work, Taghrid regularly hosts official ceremonies and moderates panels and discussion forums in both Arabic and English.
Beyond media, she dedicates consistent time to diving: a certified scuba and freediving licence holder, a board member of the Saudi Federation for Marine Sports and Diving, and a PADI AmbassaDiver.
